Golden Retrievers are one of the most popular dog breeds in the Ireland. They are known for their friendly, outgoing personalities and their loyalty. Originally they were bred in Scotland to retrieve game during hunting sessions. They still love a good game of fetch, hence the name! Golden Retrievers are great family dogs and are also used as service dogs and in therapy work. They are intelligent and trainable, and love to be active. Golden Retrievers need plenty of exercise and socialisation, and do best in a home with a garden.

This litter was sired by Ollie of Newbawn, Wexford and whelped by Mimi of Tomathone, Gorey. Both have clear hip and clear elbow scores and other important health checks. Why Choose Our Puppies? Certified Health and Excellence: Each puppy has passed extensive health checks and received all core vaccinations and regular deworming. They are microchipped and come with full IKC and FIDO registrations. Raised with Love: Our puppies thrive on human interaction and are raised in a nurturing environment that prioritises socialisation and early learning, including potty training and exposure to everyday household sounds and activities. Child-Friendly: Known for their gentle nature, these puppies are ideal companions for children, fostering lifelong bonds. Advanced Developmental Training: From their earliest days, our puppies undergo mild Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to enhance their neurological development. This gives them a greater capacity to handle stress and adapt to new situations. Additionally, we implement sound conditioning to familiarise them with a variety of everyday noises, ensuring they grow up to be well-adjusted, confident dogs. Included with Every Puppy: A comforting PuppyPack, which includes a familiar-smelling blanket, a favourite toy, a stylish bandana, a birth collar, and sufficient food to ease their transition to your home. Additional Information ENS is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected, the result being an increased capacity that later will help to make a difference in its performance, according to Breeding Better Dogs. Sound conditioning is about teaching a puppy to be comfortable with all sorts of sounds and if you think about it, we live in a world full of loud, new and unusual sounds. All of these sounds our dogs will encounter—from noises inside the home (such as the vacuum or dishwasher); to environments such as the park (birds chirping or dogs barking) or the farm (tractors, machinery and other noisy animals; and the outside world (traffic, storms, fireworks). Becoming accustomed to these sounds is key to having a well-balanced and behaved dog. In addition to the recommended sound conditioning, we have also used a blow dryer near and on them, which also helps them be accustomed to dryer and vacuuming-type noises. Also useful, when grooming is required with a blow dryer. As of week 2, we introduced a potty area with potty trays covered with potty pads. During our handling and play sessions and after feeding we encouraged them to do their business primarily in the potty trays. As of week 4, they are groomed once a week with a warm bath of splashes, blow drying, nail trimming and brushing. Their nail tips have been clipped since week 2 every 2 weeks to minimize the scratches on their Mummy and us when handling them, but also to ensure they are comfortable with nail clipping going forward when it needs to be done. Mummy was transitioned from a kibble type diet to a raw food diet 4 weeks before mating. Her daily diet is made up of raw frozen salmon for breakfast and raw meats mixed with offal and vegetables for lunch and dinner. This new diet gives her lots of protein, vitamins and energy that were all passed down to her puppies during lactation. If you would like more information about this diet, let us know and we’ll introduce you to the concept and everything you need to know to get started and give your new and existing dogs a wealth of healthy food.
