Beautiful IKC (Pending) Golden Retriever puppies for sale in Kilkenny available from the 6th of August looking for their forever loving homes.

These endearing puppies have been raised in our family home around young children and are the ideal family pet. Elly (picture 8) their mother is our family pet who is an integral part of the family. Elly and the father (picture 9) are incredibly gentle, calm and affectionate showing all the classic loving traits Golden Retrievers are known for.

These puppies have been:

-Fully health checked by vet

-Microchipped

-Wormed every two weeks

-Vaccinated

-IKC Registered

-Weaned onto high-quality puppy food

Golden Retrievers are renowned for their friendly, intelligent, loving and playful personalities. They are eager to please, make wonderful family pets and are excellent companions for both children and adults.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200729492, 972274200729494, 972274200729618, 972274200729640) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
