Duffy is a 2 year old male Golden Retriever in Dublin - very sweet dog
Details
Description
Duffy is a lovely, affectionate male Golden Retriever who would do best in a home where he will be loved and well cared for. He has been part of our family since March 2024, and this has been an incredibly difficult decision for us. Due to changes in our circumstances, we can no longer give him the time and attention he truly deserves.
Duffy is a sweet, gentle boy with a soft personality. He loves being around people and enjoys walks and cuddles. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of love, care, and companionship.
Duffy is fully vaccinated and neutered, and up to date with all routine care.
He is also a happy, healthy boy and is currently on a very manageable long-term medication for a mild ongoing condition. The condition is well controlled, and he lives a full, active life with no impact on his daily routine. His medication is easy to manage and costs approximately ā¬25 per month.
We are looking for a kind and responsible family or individual who can offer him a safe, stable, and loving environment. His wellbeing is our absolute priority, so we want to make sure he goes to the right home.
If you think you could give Duffy the home he deserves, please donāt hesitate to get in touch. Weād be happy to answer any questions and make sure itās the right match for everyone.
Thanks

Tips for purchasing a dog
- Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
- Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200437779) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
- Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
- Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
- Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
- Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
- It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
