Female East European Shepherd IKC registered, 2 years old. Originally this breeds heritage includes German Shepherd, (they were bred to withstand freezing temperatures) thus the similarity, She is an Eastern European Shepherd (VEO) and is a recognised breed in the IKC. A wonderful companion, she’s great with adults, children, all dogs and is also quiet around horses, cows etc. She doesn’t bark without a reason, even if other dogs are barking but she is very alert. She is brilliant at scent work, so anyone interested in search and rescue or man trailing, this is your dog. She walks well on the lead or by your side without also. Sits, stays and long stays, comes when called and responds to a silent whistle too, she waits to eat on your command. She’s used to walking in town and traffic and doesn’t beg when beside me in a cafe or in the kitchen. She is mainly outside but is house trained. She’s crate and muzzle trained but this breed is not required to wear one. Friendly with her vet. Regrettably, a change in personal circumstances means I have to pass her on to a new loving home. She has no character flaws, she loves nothing better than chasing her toy, loves the forest and beach and swims well. She’s used to being groomed and having her nails trimmed. She’s an absolute dote and I’m sorry to have to give her up, but my loss is someone else’s gain. She comes with a large crate, collars, leads, food for a couple of months, harness and long working leads etc.
