The French Bulldog is a small breed of domestic dog. "Frenchies" were the result of a cross between Toy Bulldogs imported from England and local ratters in Paris during the 1800s. They were popularised in France by actress Sarah Bernhardt, who kept one as a pet. French Bulldogs are muscular, heavy boned dogs that are shorter and stockier than their English Bulldog cousins. They have a long, soft coat that can be either brindle, fawn, or white. Other colours are more rare. Frenchies are not big on barking, but are very alert dogs. They do not require a lot of exercise.

Beautiful 5th Generation certified Pedigree, Kennel Club Registered, Blue & Tan coloured Male French Bulldog. Great temperament, very affectionate, loves cuddles and playtime, house trained, friendly with other dogs and cats, super friendly with all people he meets and great with children. He will come to his new home with everything he needs including crate, bed, food, toys, leads, bowls, treats etc. He is fully up to date on all vaccinations including kennel cough (all done in July) as well as worming and flea treatments. We had purchased him for our young children (aged 5&3) but sadly they are not adjusting to life with a dog as well as we had hoped. Would suit a home with slightly older children than ours or a household where the children are already used to dogs, an adult only home would also suit him well.
