The French Bulldog is a small breed of domestic dog. "Frenchies" were the result of a cross between Toy Bulldogs imported from England and local ratters in Paris during the 1800s. They were popularised in France by actress Sarah Bernhardt, who kept one as a pet. French Bulldogs are muscular, heavy boned dogs that are shorter and stockier than their English Bulldog cousins. They have a long, soft coat that can be either brindle, fawn, or white. Other colours are more rare. Frenchies are not big on barking, but are very alert dogs. They do not require a lot of exercise.

Hi, We are looking for a loving home to take in Koko, a beautiful female Blue & Tan French Bulldog puppy located in Dublin. She is 1 year 11 months old. Koko is affectionate and has an excellent temperament, making her great both on and off the lead. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we reluctantly need to find her a new loving home. Though she originally cost €2500 during a peak market period, our priority now is to ensure she finds the right family. Ideally, the new owner would have no other pets and should have thoroughly researched the breed prior to contacting us.
