Duke is a friendly IKC Registered male Dobermann puppy 15 months old in Cavan needs a new home

I’m looking for a new home for my 15 month old male Doberman puppy named Duke. He is IKC registered, neutered, healthy, and full of energy.

Due to my work schedule, I don’t have enough time to give him the life he deserves.

Duke is smart, friendly, and playful. He would do best in a home with a large garden, field, or a farm where he can run freely. Ideally, he’d love to have other dogs around to play with.

I live in Ballyjamesduff, so I’m hoping to find a home nearby so I can visit him sometimes.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109120052) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
