Fabulous IKC Registered Cocker Spaniel puppies in Kerry

Our beautiful IKC registered Chocolate Cocker Spaniel 'Bisto' and IKC registered Golden Cocker Spaniel 'Frodo' 'have had a litter of beautiful glossy black puppies. Both dogs are cherished family pets.

The puppies have been raised in our home, cuddled, kissed and played with by adults children and grandchildren. They are almost toilet trained. Most toileting done outside but still some accidents during the night. In the last fortnight we have started crate training.

Puppies are IKC registered, vet checked, wormed every fortnight, very active with great appetites. They are accustomed to household noises like washing machines and vacuum cleaner.

Mum is our beloved pet. This is her first and will be her only litter. Bisto and Frodo have been playmates for the last year. It was because Frodo is such a beautiful dog, not only handsome but has an exceptional temperament and especially good with children, that we decided to have this one off litter. Puppies are ready for loving forever homes. They will make wonderful pets.

Cocker spaniels are active and very affectionate. They are usually easy to train. They do not like being alone and need the company of humans or another dog.

They are being fed on Orijen Puppy food and we will give a weeks supply with each puppy along with bedding with mum and siblings scent, feeding bowl and toy.

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200691726, 972274200691770, 972274200691755, 972274200691756, 972274200691754) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
