Female Beagle x Cocker Spaniel - €200

Bee is a wonderful Bocker, 7 month old puppy. Her price reflects that all I want is a 5* home for her.

She is the most loving, affectionate, cuddle bunny ever and hillarious too. She sleeps on my bed and on the sofas. She plays well with my two cats. She adores kids of all ages and one of these pics of her is sitting on a chair with my 19 month old grandson while he read her a story.

For all this, I am not the right home for her. Due to ill health I cannot give Bee what she needs. The Beagle in her means her nose is on the ground 24/7 and I cannot walk her off lead. Her recall in an enclosed place (garden, dog park, home) is 100% esp to the whistle I have. But I live near large woods and a lake and I cannot let her off, as her nose would lead her into trouble. And she is too strong for me on the lead. Although small in stature, she is 17 kilos and made of muscle (or iron!) and she is going to have me off my feet.
After much training, she is better on the roads on the short lead (I have to use a slip lead on her, and not one attached to her collar) but take her somewhere exciting, which is what she needs and longs for, and life just gets too frustrating for her when she is constantly restrained.

Ideally she needs to be in a home with teenagers or kids who will wear her out. She also needs another dog. She adores other dogs and gets on so well in doggy day care. She would be brilliant at agility I think or anything that keeps that beagle mind stimulated.

Please only reply if you have experience with Beagles or Bockers and if you can offer her a loving, sofa and bed filled loving home for her with the time and energy to keep up with her. You also need a fully enclosed rear garden with high fences or high walls. One look at an open gate and she'd be through it without a glance backwards at you.
