IKC Chow Chows (rare!)

I am thrilled to announce the availability of our stunning litter of pure bred Chow Chow puppies. This extremely rare breed of dog originates from Norther China and is known for its cute teddy bear like appearance along with its loyal nature and independent personality. Their thick coat, large paws and jet black tongue really set this breed apart.

Within our litter we have 2 black Chows which are the only available black chows in the Republic of Ireland (as of 16/12/24) and a gorgeous fawn girl with a black mask. These are IKC registered puppies with the mammy being our gorgeous pet dog, Balu, who is available to view also. These puppies are extremely well socialised around kids and other dogs and have all their Veterinary work carried out by our local vet with the accompanying paperwork on hand and ready to go.

Each Chow Chow has an incredible personality with different traits and demeanours so let me introduce you to our crew:

Picture 2 (Fawn female) - The real messer of the group and is often the one to initiate playtime with her siblings and owners. Loves some attention and cuddles and is definitely the rogue of the group!

Picture 3/4(Black Male) - The only male of the group and he enjoys spending time with other dogs and socialising with his owners before taking a nap on the corner of the couch. His personality is very distinct as he has a confidence in every environment he walks into and he is not one to get overwhelmed or overexcited about what is going on around him!

Picture 5(Black Female) - Our black female has a really affectionate side and enjoys being rubbed and walked at different stages throughout the day. Like our boy, she is not one to get too excited and would make a lovely friend for anyone to bring home.

These puppies are sure to be great companions for anyone looking for a furry friend for life and due to their extremely rare nature demand is sure to be high so if you have any questions feel free to give me (Martin) a call. 1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.
3. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station and to us via the Report ad button.
4. We recommend you print or save a copy of this page for your records in case the ad is updated / closed.

Remember: A puppy is for life, not just for Christmas🎄.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200585514, 972274200585457, 972274200585440) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
9. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
10. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
11. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
