Female Border Collie in Louth available to Right home

3 year 4 month old female Border Collie available. She was originally purchased as a working dog (parents were both workers) but ill health of owner meant she wasn't fully trained. She is quick, active & alert and very eager to please. She has been well socilaised with other dogs, cats & children. Fantasic to bring on walks, runs or to the beach.

Fully vaccinated, wormed & flea treatments up to date. She is fully house trained & can walk with you with/without lead. Would love to see her go to a new home with lots of space & interaction. Happy to talk on price. Any questions just let me know. Thanks.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200418243) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
