The Biewer Terrier originated in Germany in the 1980s when German breeders Werner & Gertrud Biewer discovered a rare tri-coloured Yorkie puppy, which led them to develop a unique breed through selective breeding. Known for their elegant appearance and distinct white, blue, and tan colouring. Biewers are AKC / CKC (Canada) but not yet IKC or KC (UK) recognised.

Biewer Terriers are relatively easy to train and are very intelligent, making them a great choice for first-time dog owners. They are also relatively healthy dogs, with a lifespan of 12-15 years.
