Wonderful 11 week old Bichon Frise puppies in Roscommon looking to Steal Your ❤️
Details
Description
We were very lucky our Sadie had 5 wonderful puppies, 3 of which have been given to amazing homes leaving Teddy and Pippa looking for their forever homes.
Teddy has an amazing personality, very affectionate and loves his cuddles and attention. Teddy would make an excellent pet for someone who is generally at home or in and out, older children 4+ as he likes to jump and fight for attention, but with a little training this would all stop. Teddy has stolen my heart and I'm searching for a special loving home for him. He is excellent walking on the lead and travelling in the car.
Pippa aka little Ms independent possible shy but come for the cuddles on her terms very affectionate but not for long. Very playful and loves other animals, her best friend is the Andy the cat. Pippa again needs some training and remembering they are only 11 weeks old.
Excellent walking on the lead and loves to explore.
It has been the most amazing 11 weeks watching these babies grow and develop into such wonderful puppies that they are. They love bathtime and getting brushed. Time has come for them to brighten up someone else's life and find their forever home.
ABOUT BICHON FRISES:
Owning a dog is not just a privilege; it’s a responsibility. They depend on us for, at minimum, food and shelter, and they deserve much more. When you take a dog into your life, you need to understand the commitment that dog ownership entails.
Bichons are known for their friendly, playful and affectionate personalities. They are generally good with children and other pets and enjoy being part of a family. Bichons are intelligent and enjoy learning tricks.
The Bichon is classified as 'somewhat active,' but that's on average. Long stretches of calm are interspersed with brief bursts of high activity, often just running through the house or around the yard. Daily play sessions, in addition to walks, are required. Another dog can be a fine exercise companion, but the Bichon will still need quality playtime with their owner. A fenced-in backyard is a good idea; Bichons are surprisingly fast, and if one makes a dash for freedom, he may be difficult to catch or to call back to you.
The breed's glory is a white hypoallergenic coat, plush and velvety to the touch, featuring rounded head hair that sets off the large, dark eyes and black leathers of the nose and lips. Bichons are adaptable companions who get on well with other dogs and children. Alert and curious, Bichons make nice little watchdogs'but they are lovers, not fighters, and operate under the assumption that there are no strangers, just friends they haven't met yet. Their confidence and size make them ideal city dogs. Bichons train nicely and enjoy performing for their loved ones. Finally, there's the happy-go-lucky Bichon personality that draws smiles and hugs wherever they go.

Tips for purchasing a puppy
- Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
- Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200611051, 972274200610955) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
- Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
- See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
- Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
- Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
- Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
- Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
- Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
- It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
