Wormed every 2 weeks with Drontal and treated for fleas with Effipro. All puppies have received their first primary vaccination against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Paritiuenzayirys and Leptospirosis.

Mother of puppies (Ruby) is an excellent example of the Bernese mountain breed. She is an extremely friendly, affectionate family pet with a fantastic temperament.

- Clonabay Golden Star (Archie) (father of puppies) is a young promising show quality dog. Archie's Father is 2CC & 2rCC Bamchaine You Spin Me Right Round In Zenevieva is one of the best show dogs currently completing in Ireland and the UK. He has many show titles won to date, most notable winning his class in Crufts Dog show.

Archies Mother is by Sh. Ch., Reminten Rocking Robin who was the 5 Green stars BPIS UGRC Celtic Winner 2007. This pedigree goes back to Sh. Ch., Shinehil, Summer of Woodmore who has many show titles across Ireland and the UK.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (981098109180595, 981098109180227, 981098109179820, 981098109180627, 981098109180902) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
