Meet Blu, a stunning 16 month old male Blue American Pitbull Terrier puppy known for his blue coat, who is a gentle, kind, and affectionate companion. Unfortunately, Blu has outgrown our home, and we believe he deserves a better environment where he can thrive. We are in no rush to rehome him, as we are committed to ensuring he finds the perfect family.

Blu has a warm personality and loves cuddles on the couch, playful zoomies in the garden, and relaxing daytime naps. He enjoys roaming the home as he likes company. He is a sensitive boy and needs as much love as he can get, he is loyal and intelligent, making him a wonderful family pet. Blu is very affectionate and will form a strong bond, making him a delightful addition to any household.

He needs his walks during the day, and loves his toy bone.

Blu is particularly great with children, having shown his gentle nature around our 9-year-old.

He is fully vaccinated, house trained and wormed, ready to bring joy to his new family.

He is a restricted breed and must always have a muzzle and be on a lead. No exceptions.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200483191) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
6. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
7. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
8. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
