American Akita puppies in Galway

We have a lovely selection of Akita puppies available for sale in Galway.

These puppies are lively and playful, showcasing the breeds independent yet loyal temperament.

Our litter includes two male Tricolor puppies (Brown/Black/White), one female Tricolor puppy, and one male Brown/White puppy, all of whom have been vaccinated and wormed for your peace of mind.

Akitas are known for their strong-willed nature and protective instincts, making them excellent companions for experienced dog owners. They require consistent training and socialisation from a young age to thrive

Father is fully KC AND IKC registered coming from USA and RUSSIAN pedigree.

2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (987000010038208, 987000010038140, 987000010038201, 987000010038137) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
9. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
10. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
