Loving male Pomsky 13 months old in Galway is seeking a very special home
Details
Description
We are looking for a wonderful new home for our beautiful male Pomsky. He is 13 months old, neutered, and a lovely, affectionate boy with a big personality. He is very loved, but we feel he would thrive in a home where he can receive more individual attention, consistent training and one-on-one time than we can currently give him. He is very good with children, cats and other dogs.
This is not a decision we have made lightly, and finding the right home is far more important than finding one quickly.
We are looking for a responsible, experienced and committed owner who understands the needs of an active, intelligent dog and can offer him a loving, stable, permanent home.
Serious Enquiries Only.
Please do not message simply asking if he is available. We will only consider enquiries from people genuinely interested in offering him a lifelong home.
If interested, please introduce yourself and provide the following information:
Your household: Who lives with you? Are there children, and what ages?
Your home: Do you own or rent? House or apartment? Urban or rural?
Outdoor space: Do you have a private, securely enclosed garden? What type and height of fencing?
Daily routine: Do you work from home or outside the home? How many hours would the dog be left alone?
Dog experience: Have you owned dogs previously? Which breeds? Any experience with Huskies, Pomskies or similar breeds?
Other pets: Do you currently have dogs, cats or other animals?
Exercise and training: How would you meet his daily exercise, mental stimulation and training needs?
Living arrangements: Where would Tiny sleep and spend his time during the day?
Your circumstances: Why are you interested in owning a dog, and what sort of life could you offer him?
We will be selective, and any potential home would need to be a genuinely good match.
Please only get in touch if you are serious, have discussed this with your household and are prepared for the lifelong commitment of owning a dog.
Our only priority is finding him the home he deserves. ❤️

Tips for contacting sellers
- Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
- Choose carefully what information you share about yourself in your messages. Do share info if you have a garden, young kids, or other suitable information to help the seller know you are a suitable buyer.
- Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station and to us via the Report ad button.
- We recommend you print or save a copy of this page for your records in case the ad is updated / closed.
Tips for purchasing a dog
- Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
- Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200613901) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
- Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
- Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
- Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
- Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
- It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
