Teddy is a gorgeous, loving one-year-old Maltipoo who is looking for a home where he can thrive and receive lots of love, attention and guidance.

He has a wonderful personality and can be such a sweet, affectionate little companion. He loves being around people and is full of character. He sleeps happily through the night in his crate, fully toilet trained, his walking is good, and he has so much potential to mature into a fantastic family companion.

Teddy is still young and energetic, so he would benefit from an owner who has the time, patience and love for him.

This is a very difficult decision for our family, and Teddy will only be going to the right home. We want to find someone who will give him the time, consistency and affection he deserves.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200685332) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
5. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
6. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
7. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
