Pheobe is female German Shepherd 15 months old in Westmeath
Details
Description
Pheobe is an amazing 15 month old female German Shepherd. We got her the end of August. We have had a lot of fun. She loves the outdoors. She is definitely a protective dog by nature it’s in her breed.
Unfortunately due to my housing rules I am not allowed a restricted breed. So she needs to go to someone who is a home owner that would have no issues there.
I would like to see Pheobe go to a great home. She needs to be walked every day otherwise the puppy side comes out and she has excess energy in the evening, but we found some teeth chews that she loves. She used to sleep between my teen daughter’s bedroom and the hallway. She will alert you if she hears neighbours coming in late at night. She is protective by nature and can be stand offish with people she doesn’t know until she has gained confidence. She’s not shy it’s more of a trust and I allow her free space to back away when meeting new people. She’s doing well, we were only in the early stage. She is highly intelligent and can easily open doors. She likes to see what people are up to.
She is not an annoying or silly dog, she does not bother you. She’s very calm when rested and feels safe. She was definitely more alert the first few weeks at the start but has such a lovely nature. She needs patience and guidance and also she loves to be shown tricks.
Definitely someone who knows about the breed would be great.
