Rocky the Newfoundland

Rocky is a Landseer IKC registered Newfoundland and a proven stud. He has beautiful markings, is a playful friendly dog. A fine example of the breed. He's a big strong dog but is also very friendly. He gets a lot of attention everywhere we go.

Rocky will not be leaving our home for service, he is our family pet. He's well socialised with other dogs & cats and is with our children daily.

1. Keep communication through our messaging system for as long as possible.
2. Choose carefully what information you share about yourself.
3. Ask for recent health check certificate from their vet, this should check for known issues with the breed & have details of vaccinations. The AKC has a comprehensive list of their health testing requirements per breed.
4. Ask breeders about the vet who has taken care of the dog and contact the vet directly.
5. Ask breeders to provide their ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details.
6. If you are new to breeding, please, please, read this article about breeding dogs.
7. Stud dogs listed need to be 12 months or older. While bigger breeds may mature faster, often health complications don't show until later.
8. Report suspicious activity to your local Garda Station & / or the Department of Agriculture, Food & Marine.
