We are delighted to offer this beautiful female Red Wheaten Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy for sale.

Born on 30th June 2023, this girl is now 19 weeks old.

Through no fault of her own is awaiting adoption into her forever home. Our puppies are all purebred pedigree dogs - DNA Cert provided and of superb pet/potential show quality. Our Ridgebacks are bred for their intelligence/temperament/type and have been raised in a family environment, ensuring they are well-adjusted and sociable. We recently attended a Championship Dog Show for socialisation at All Ireland Bull Breeds - we achieved 1st place Best Baby Puppy in Bred with one of the girls from this litter!

Our puppies come from excellent lineage, with their father 'Ragnar' being a multiple champion and their mother 'Nala', already a Crufts finalist, has several Green Stars to her name.

Our adult Ridgebacks undergo all the relevant health tests including X-rays, DM, JMe and all puppies are checked for Dermoid Sinus. Our puppies are fed a mainly raw diet, are vet health checked (vet certificate supplied) and regularly wormed. They are IKC registered, microchipped and have completed their primary vaccination course.

Each puppy comes with a comprehensive puppy pack that includes guide notes, Kennel Club documentation, pedigree certificate, microchip registration, veterinary health certificate & health record, vaccination card, a blanket, a toy and a supply of their regular diet to start them off in their new homes.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (941000019805312) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Ask to see mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. See puppies in their home environment.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
9. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
10. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
11. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
