IKC registered Pedigree Newfoundland puppies

We have five of the most beautiful chunky Pedigree IKC registered Newfoundland puppies ready now to go to their forever homes.

They spend hours outside playing every day with each other and with Mom and Dad which has given them amazing personalities. They are confident, outgoing, curious, great fun and very affectionate puppies.

They also like their time on the couch watching television with us in the evening.

As the Newfoundland is a Giant breed they are slow growing and need to be with their Mom and siblings much longer than other breeds.

We spend hours with these puppies preparing them for their forever homes. They are used to being handled from birth by all of our children which makes them very confident around people of all ages. They are used to going for a bath and are towel dried and then blow dried so noises just don’t bother them.

They are IKC registered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed every 2 weeks since birth and are health checked by our Vet.

They come with 3 generation paperwork from IKC.

Both Mom and Dad are part of our family so you will meet them when you come to meet your puppy. We adore Newfoundland’s as they have made an amazing addition to our very busy family. They are such a unique dog and are so kind and understanding.

We have spent a lot of time with these wonderful puppies and have enjoyed every minute of it and now they are ready to begin the adventure of moving to their forever home.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (991001006095909, 991001006095896, 991001006095898, 991001006095900, 991001006095894) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. Ask to see mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. See puppies in their home environment.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
9. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
10. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
11. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
12. This seller is a Registered Seller of Pets, ask to see their Registered Sellers ID from the Department of Agriculture.
