IKC Registered Irish Red and White Setter puppies

Stunning Irish Setter puppies with beautiful red and white markings, full of character and very affectionate. Born to highly bred field trial lines, they will make excellent pets or working dogs. The puppies are currently 10 weeks old and ready to go to their forever homes. Pedigrees of parents are available upon request. IKC Registered.

The mother can be seen with the puppies; she is a family pet with a very sweet and gentle character. All puppies have been vaccinated and wormed. Located in Kenmare, these affectionate puppies are looking for loving families. Come and meet them! Contact by phone or text.

1. Ask sellers to provide an ID (driver's licence / passport) and take note of their contact details. You will also need to provide the same & a proof of address to transfer the microchip to your name.
2. Note microchip IDs posted here (972274200536516, 972274200536513, 972274200536517, 972274200536521, 972274200536525, 972274200536505, 972274200536501) and check the microchip certificates (important) when you visit to make sure they match and the sellers details are on the certificate too (see example microchip certificates).
3. Do not purchase a dog without seeing a microchip certificate. It is illegal to sell a dog without a microchip that's fully registered (info).
4. See puppies in their home environment and see the mother of puppies.
5. Make sure the puppy is 8 weeks before taking ownership of the dog (closer to 10-12 weeks is even better).
6. Do not pay a deposit until you've met the owner & puppy in person.
7. Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a car park or other business location.
8. Consider buying a puppy starter pack of essential items .
9. Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
10. Use our contract template www.dogs.ie/contract or another as a basis for a written contract & ask for a written receipt.
11. It's best not to bring young kids to first meetings, to avoid disappointment in the case you decide not to buy a dog.
