Puppies can be advertised before the 8 weeks, but not sold. Closer to 10-12 weeks is recommended for separating the mother from its puppies. This ad states the date of birth is 27/04/2022 adding 8 weeks to this would mean the earliest date of sale should be Wednesday, 22/06/2022. This is set out in the Animal Health and Welfare (Sale or Supply of Pet Animals) Regulations Act of 2019 Section 3.

Do not purchase a dog from a seller in a parking lot or other business location.
Ask sellers about the vet who has taken care of the dogs. Ask for the dog's vaccination certificate(s).
